We’re looking for a Freelance Content Creator – Arabic to support FIFA World Cup coverage across Arabic social media channels. Someone who understands football culture, thrives in fast-moving environments, and knows how to turn live moments into content that resonates with fans across the region.

This role sits at the heart of tournament coverage, helping deliver real-time, culturally relevant storytelling throughout one of the biggest moments in global sport.

What you’ll be doing

Create content that connects

• Develop and publish daily social media content aligned with tournament moments, matches and trending conversations
• Write Arabic captions and adapt global assets for Arabic-speaking audiences
• Create platform-native content that feels timely, engaging and culturally relevant

Drive live coverage and reactive storytelling

• Monitor tournament trends, fan reactions and breaking stories in real time
• Support live coverage periods with fast turnaround content execution
• Help turn match moments and online conversation into engaging social storytelling

Collaborate across teams

• Work closely with producers, designers and editors to deliver matchday and always-on coverage
• Contribute ideas during brainstorms and content planning sessions
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution across projects

Maintain quality and consistency

• Ensure all content aligns with platform best practices, brand guidelines and delivery timelines
• Help maximise engagement across FIFA World Cup channels through creative and audience-first thinking

What you bring

A strong understanding of football, culture and audience behaviour

• Passion for football and knowledge of the FIFA World Cup landscape
• Understanding of Arabic-speaking audiences and regional online culture

A content-first mindset

• Experience creating engaging social media content in Arabic
• Strong understanding of digital platforms, trends and reactive content formats
• Ability to create content that feels native, relevant and shareable

The ability to execute in fast-paced environments

• Comfortable working across live events and high-volume coverage periods
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver quickly under pressure
