WSTは、サウジアラビア初のスヌーカー・トーナメントのソーシャルメディア・マネジメントを担当し、アラブ文化とスヌーカーを融合させることで、新たな視聴者を獲得しました。

We were privileged to support the inaugural ‘Riyadh Season World Masters of Snooker,’ marking Saudi Arabia’s debut in hosting a top-level; snooker tournament (2024). 

As part of this initiative, our team took charge of managing Arabic social media channels for the World Snooker Tour (WST), leveraging our understanding of the MENA audience to drive maximum engagement.

Our content strategy focused on blending the prestige of snooker with local culture. We created reels featuring iconic Arab music, alongside custom illustrations of top snooker players, incorporating Saudi cultural references to enhance the event’s local appeal. This approach successfully connected with the Saudi audience while maintaining the global prestige of the sport.

To further boost engagement, we implemented geo-targeted campaigns across all platforms, with Instagram serving as the global hub for content. The results were strong, with the campaign generating 1.4m views and 2.3m impressions across WST platforms.

This initiative not only introduced snooker to a new and rapidly growing sports hub, but also demonstrated the importance of cultural alignment in expanding sports fanbases. Our efforts helped WST gain traction in Saudi Arabia, showcasing the potential for snooker’s growth in key markets across the MENA region.
