The "Wimbledon All-White Outfit Challenge" on Red attracted millions, blending tradition with fashion to expand Wimbledon’s reach.In a successful partnership with Chinese lifestyle platform Red, we launched the “Wimbledon All-White Outfit Challenge,” a campaign designed to celebrate and highlight Wimbledon’s iconic all-white dress code.
Running from June 15th to July 15th, 2023, this initiative invited participants (UGC and influencer) to showcase their stylish all-white outfits on Red, using the hashtag #WimbledonAllWhiteTennisStyle.
The campaign was a perfect blend of brand positioning and audience engagement, bringing together Wimbledon’s premium image with Red’s desirable and fashion-forward user base.
The challenge generated an impressive amount of high-quality user-generated content, with participants enthusiastically embracing Wimbledon’s unique tradition.
To further incentivise participation, those who stood out with their creativity and style were rewarded with exclusive Wimbledon accessories, adding an extra layer of excitement and engagement to the campaign.
The results were outstanding, with the campaign amassing 20m impressions and significantly broadening Wimbledon’s appeal beyond traditional tennis fans. By merging fashion with Wimbledon’s storied legacy, we created an engaging and inclusive campaign that resonated across target demographics.
This win-win partnership not only reinforced Wimbledon’s prestigious brand image but also successfully introduced its culture to a new and wider audience, positioning the Championship as both timeless and trendsetting.
