Social Media Content Producer (MLB Specialist)

About the Role

We are looking to hire a highly skilled Content Producer with strong expertise in Major League Baseball (MLB). The ideal candidate will lead social media ideation, execution and content production for a dedicated baseball / MLB account. This role requires a deep understanding of MLB, excellent storytelling skills and the ability to manage digital content across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy and Production

• Develop, plan and execute social media content and campaigns for MLB focused channels.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to ideate and deliver high quality content in line with brand guidelines.
• Oversee day-to-day content planning, scheduling and publishing across multiple social media platforms.
• Ensure all communication is culturally relevant, timely and aligned with MLB narratives and storylines.

Team Collaboration and Management

• Coordinate with designers, editors, strategists and client teams to ensure smooth content delivery.
• Provide creative direction and guide team members on best practices for sports content production.

Required Skills and Experience

MLB Knowledge

• Strong and demonstrable understanding of Major League Baseball.
• Familiarity with teams, players, season structure, key rivalries, statistics and fan culture.
• Ability to spot storylines, moments and trends that resonate with MLB audiences.

Producer / Social Media Skills

• Social media savvy with a clear understanding of platform-specific best practices.
• Proven experience in content development and sports storytelling.
• Ability to plan strategy, analyse performance and optimise content accordingly.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage creative teams.

Additional Details

• Work Model: Hybrid (Mumbai based)
• Experience: Prior experience working on sports accounts is preferred. MLB specific experience is mandatory.
