Social Media Content Producer (Sports)

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic Social Media Content Producer with strong knowledge of general sports culture and digital content creation. The ideal candidate will develop innovative content, support campaign execution and contribute to the creative output for various sports-related social media accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy and Creation

• Develop engaging and platform-specific content around global and Indian sports. 
• Support the planning and execution of campaigns, live coverage and storytelling initiatives. 
• Maintain the publishing calendar and ensure consistent, high-quality content distribution. 
• Adapt creative ideas into posts, videos, captions and interactive formats tailored to each platform. 

Team Collaboration and Workflow Management

• Work with designers, editors, strategists and community managers to bring content ideas to life. 
• Participate in brainstorms, propose concepts and offer creative input for both evergreen and real-time content. 
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met.
  
  

Required Skills and Experience

Sports Knowledge

• Strong familiarity with major sports leagues, teams and athletes (e.g., football, cricket, basketball, baseball, tennis, etc.). 
• Ability to identify relevant sports stories and develop content that resonates with fans. 

Producer / Social Media Skills

• Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, X, YouTube, Facebook). 
• Experience in ideating and developing creative content. 
• Clear storytelling skills with an understanding of current digital trends. 
• Ability to manage tasks, juggle multiple projects and support a wider content team. 

Video Familiarity

• Basic understanding of video editing trends and workflows 
• Ability to collaborate effectively with editors and visual teams. 

Additional Details

• Work Model: Hybrid (Mumbai-based) 
• Experience: Prior experience working in sports or entertainment content production is preferred.
